Authority:

- Owner of the FMEA process at Research and Development

- Facilitate and guide the organization to perform high-quality risk assessment analysis

- Business owner of the FMEA tool

- R&D Subject Matter Expert on risk-related topics and Requirements Management

- Owner of R&D FMEA trainings, both generic introduction and deep-dive technical training

Tasks:

- Support on FMEA status (S/D) across all projects at R&D

- Educate the organization on current methodology and translating to new ones which are current customer requirements (AIAG-VDA)

- Align on how we work with FMEA within R&D to make sure FMEAs are done on time and in a standardized way with a decided tool.

- Led of the implementation of FMEA tool, will be followed-up in IATF audit as focus for next year (minor remark to solve in 2025)

- Only trainer in the way of working on FMEA

- Own the process and the tool for all R&D relevant FMEAs, System, Function and Design. Process FMEAs are owned by Manufacturing Engineering

Urgency:

w28 current consultant goes on parental leave

- Only expert in AIAG-VDA methodology, translator of all APP FMEAS (e.g. from AVL). Without this competence, we will not be able to deliver.

- Gen 4 and HP3.5 FMEA SPOC solving critical items

- Lead of FMEA Tool implementation, setting requirements, process, digital UATs etc. This was promised at 2025 IATF audit to solve the minor remark and it is already said by the auditor it would be the major point for IATF 2026 certification. Without this ole, no progress can be done and high risk of getting major.

- Only person with extensive FMEA knowledge: no person can be trained without this role and not possible to handle questions in audits or projects.

Skill requirements

- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of risk management and regarding System, Function and Design FMEAs

- Strong theoretical knowledge regarding Requirements management and Systems engineering

- Previous experience in tool configuration and implementation

- Experience in working within R&D and Engineering

- Knowledge of the different FMEA methodologies

- Knowledge on ICE and Hybrid powertrain units

- Knowledge in traceability requirements and certifications (ISO9001/14001 and IATF mainly)

- Previous experience in hosting trainings and building educational training material

- Multi-tasking skills and like to work on multiple initiatives at the same time.

- Effective communication skills within and outside engineering and are used to facilitate groups of people.

- Self-going, takes initiatives

- Thinks outside the box

- Stakeholders management

Meritorious:

• Previous experience working with other suppliers and OEMs outside VCC/Aurobay

• Basic engineering knowledge on other units types (REX, E-machines etc.)

• Previous experience in having implemented a new requirements management System in a similar OEM/Supplier
